Angel

 - Halper (c. 1999)

My son is an angel. My daughter is an angeless.
Together they're taking themselves by storm.
THeir mischievous souls so soft and warm,
Perfecting their plan of attack more or less.

My daughter is an angel. My son is an angeleur.
The older they get, the more they know.
They're starting to learn and it's starting to show
And I think they're starting to notice - can't be sure.

I want to be an angel.
I want to spread my wings and fly.
So high.

All my world is just so filled with angels.
My family is an angel troupe.
At breakfast we decide what heavenly things
To do throughout the day.
At dinner we sit down for angel soup.
